The soft drink sales slowing down each year even during the peak summer months where a large population of India buy soft drinks. They seem to be health conscious or do not want to gain weight. However, many doctors say a 200ml soft drink can provide the same energy as the 200ml bottle of water.

The excitement to have a soft-drink while feeling thirsty almost fading away. But many people in India prefer soft drinks while they finish having a heavy meal or a Biryani. So restaurants and many other small cafes or bigger 5-star to 7-star hotels are compelled to keep all types soft drinks ready and refrigerated.

The bonus for soft-drink lovers is that they’re getting these drinks so cool and as they prefer ‘good colder soft drinks’ to quench their thirsts. Meanwhile, the restaurants which sell alcohol or bars, have more sales of soft-drinks than any other breakfast, lunch or dining ones. People often mix water in wine like whiskey or any other alcoholic drink in bars and have some snacks or meal while having their habitual drinks.

Many of them now prefering soft-drinks to mix in their whiskey or any type of wine. The soft drink sales are more in hotels which include the label bar in their name plates or boards. They have more soft drink sales than any others, meaning particularly veg restaurants. The non veg restaurants equally have similar and good soft drink sales or just a bit lower than bars.

Why Delivery Apps Send Normal Drinks?

Now that delivery apps are leading in India to deliver whatever the people sitting at home prefer, the orders of soft drinks are reaching homes in quick-time. Sometimes or many at times, they disappoint people at home to know the deliveries of soft drinks would be normal, not cool. A normal water or soft drink in India means, that drink isn’t cool or was not in refrigeration.

These delivery apps behave as if their work all done when whatever ordered delivered at home. They won’t notice or bothered about, to care that whether the drinks delivered by them aren’t cool or just normal, which would look warm in this hot summer. However, if you order tin cans, you get cool, it’s fully guaranteed, I tell you. Go for cans if you want to sit at home and order drinks or soft drinks.

The Soft Drink Sales To Go Down But

The no-nonsense idea of having fewer soft drinks a day has started in India since a long time or some people prefer once in a week and to go with this, the sales are slowing down.

People also can notice that in marriage parties or functions, small water bottles are mostly provided rather than soft drinks. This is absolute loss to the soft drink industry. Yet, the soft drink industries are here to stay and grow.

Whether people have to change their drinking habits or not, the youth and children demand for soft drinks. This makes the soft drink sales to go down and be there to make some profits. Less pofits and not more but the soft drink industry is still not a loser. They can promote soft drinks according to the taste of the consumers and would go many steps further to create sales rather than shut-down. Yes, the soft drink sales are slowing down but nothing would be a ‘great loss’ if you keep soft drinks in your shops or veg restaurants.
