When You Miss Delicious Events That You Regret
You were so close to having something good, tasty and delicious at the events you attended so far. These were the delicious events you regretted not tasting at their best. You’ll be served at the table, yet you won’t be able to taste those delicious events fully, and the joy of having great food fades. You would regret for the rest of your life that you did not make an effort to do what you would have tasted, and that would have become a great memory for you.
Here are some examples most people experience, including how I made them happen in my life, to share my experiences. Firstly, in an Aqeeqa ceremony, Muslims sacrifice goats, and some of them distribute their meat by shaving the infants’ new hair. Two male goats were sacrificed for a baby boy and one for a baby girl. I attended many such Aqeeqa dinners, and in one of the delicious events, the meat was so much in the Biryani that it looked pink, and I thought something else. I thought it was beef at the time, so I did not eat it. But later I learned it was goat meat, not beef. I felt regretful.
The other Aqeeqa occasion when I waited so long, knowing that only goats would be sacrificed for Aqeeqa, and I waited so long for my dinner, prioritising serving others. Later, everything was finished, and I left hungry. So, the organisers brought the Biryani from a hotel and served some of us who were left with nothing to eat.
About another delicious event, a marriage function. I will let you know about the interesting moment later, as I finish writing for you. As I keep saying, ‘Writes RIGHT for YOU’. So keep reading.
Just Let That Moments Of The Delicious Events Go Away
A rich family’s wedding function was underway. The chicken and mutton were brought from very far away, where the cost is higher, and the meat is so delicious. Every guest who was close to the bride’s relatives, including my siblings and me, was eager to attend the dinner. The dinners were high-class, delicious meals that were so hyped. One of my cousins picked some biryani and brought that bowl to where we were sitting to taste a bit. I was also served with that. I ate biryani rice, feeling so shy.
Later, everyone went to have dinner with the groom. The last round of dinner. I felt shy; I thought, as I ate, I should be the one who would be later mocked for having dinner twice. So, I left myself hungry and did not attend the last round of dinner, which was served so nicely, as I was told that having the groom at the table made everything so hot and tasty. This is where you miss delicious events that you regret.
The Final One
On one occasion, we were served a delicious dinner by the host. The table was spread with multiple non-veg curries and rice. There was a big plate of dark-coloured kebabs, too. I thought these kebabs were beef, so when I was offered them, I declined to eat them. I thought they were made of beef. But I was so unfortunate at that moment since I was a big fan of eating fish and those kebabs were actually made of fish.
Everyone told me later why I did not taste the fish kebabs. I thought those were so-and-so, and there is nothing more to say. Since some of the delicious events have to be forgotten rather than kept in our hearts. I missed many of those and regret a lot of them, as they were of little value, so I’m hesitant to discuss everything publicly.
