Hyderabad, July 18: Telangana Minister for Public Enterprises and Minority Welfare Mohammed Azharuddin on Saturday reaffirmed the State government’s commitment to transforming government schools into some of the best educational institutions in the country. During his visit to the Telangana Public School at Arutla in Manchal mandal of Ranga Reddy district, the Minister reviewed the school’s academic standards, sports facilities and infrastructure while interacting with students and teachers.
As part of his visit, Azharuddin inspected classrooms, laboratories, library facilities and the sports infrastructure available on the campus. He also spent time with students on the school playground and joined them in a friendly game of cricket, encouraging them to actively participate in sports alongside academics.
Addressing the students, the Minister said the Telangana government, under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is giving high priority to strengthening public education across the State. He stated that the government is taking several initiatives to improve learning environments by introducing digital classrooms, modern science laboratories, well-equipped libraries and quality sports infrastructure in government schools.
Mohammed Azharuddin Urges Students to Use Facilities in Full
Azharuddin said these efforts are aimed at ensuring that students studying in government institutions receive educational opportunities comparable to those available in leading schools. He urged students to make the best use of the facilities being provided and focus on their studies with discipline, determination and dedication.
The Minister also advised students to respect their teachers and parents, emphasising that their guidance and support play a crucial role in shaping successful careers. He encouraged the students to set ambitious goals and work consistently towards achieving them through hard work and perseverance.
Expressing confidence in the capabilities of government school students, Azharuddin said institutions such as the Telangana Public School at Arutla have the potential to produce future doctors, engineers, scientists, sportspersons, entrepreneurs and civil servants who will contribute to the progress of Telangana and the country.
