Always Be Ready to Sacrifice Your Needs for Good Deeds

Always be ready to sacrifice, Good Deeds, Bad Deeds, Trouble, Help

Always Be Ready to Sacrifice Your Needs for Good Deeds: Khalid M. Raza

Keep the best intentions to sacrifice your needs and desires to perform good deeds. Always be ready to sacrifice your joy in gatherings and do good deeds. Don’t mess yourself up in arguments that go nowhere, and you should intend to do good by avoiding such incidents in your lives. Always be ready to sacrifice your time for the good that comes your way and follow that way to do good deeds.

Life in the hereafter is endless, while life in this world is temporary. The world will end, and you and every soul shall taste death. So, what are you waiting for? Try your best to do good deeds. The best way is never to be involved in such things that are prohibited for you. The prohibited are the sins, major or minor. Keep yourself away from all types of sins. Try your best to do all good, while human nature is always so weak that every soul commits intentional or unintentional sins.

Ask for Forgiveness always

Ask your Lord, the Almighty, for forgiveness, every moment, as the Almighty is most Merciful and He will reward you. Your Lord and my Lord is the Creator of the heavens and the world, and everything belongs to Him. To Him we shall return to. Do not keep yourself idle, as every moment is precious. Be so good to your neighbours and be nice to your family and relatives, whether close ones or not.

Coming back to the way in which you should always be ready to sacrifice. Your lives are to be lived purposefully—a purpose to let others know what is right and what is wrong. Live a life like, for example, a tree, which can give shade and also fruit.

When you remember death, think about doing good deeds; mistakes and sins are part of our lives. Ask for forgiveness from the Lord of the worlds. Be humble and kind. Don’t be so proud to act arrogantly, that there is still time for you to correct yourself. Be honest, work on your weaknesses, and try your best to choose a righteous path.

Always Be Ready to Sacrifice

Every moment, think about death, which can come at any time. Death is inevitable. Remind yourself that when you die, by living a life full of corruption in the sense that being so arrogant would be good enough?

What were you, after your death, a living creature to enjoy and make fun of others? Do not make things tough for others, and do not try your best to have fun all the time, without knowing that the life you live isn’t actually meaningful.

An example, when I went to Saudi Arabia and started working in a company that works for a big one, STC. One of my colleagues started mocking me for how I was working with MicroStation software as an IT engineer. He used to taunt me a lot when it was not his concern how I was working there, even though my Boss was happy with my work. I was so hurt that I had to leave that company without bothering about taking home my next salary, which was good, as I was also happy to earn well.

More disappointments & guidance mixed

I started searching for a job, any job. A school in Riyadh hired me. There was also a need for yet another teacher, and I told my friend about the vacancy. He slowly brought in too many of his friends; they used to cause a lot of trouble. Gradually, they took over all the subjects I was teaching. They told the principal that they could teach all subjects, which allowed them to teach the general ones, excluding math.

I was shocked when, earlier, before letting my friend not to teach English and social studies, etc., he literally broke his promise, and he and all his friends grabbed all of my subjects. I was shown the exit door and fired. They were so much better qualified than I was. That’s intentional or unintentional, but my friend did not do the good because he broke the promise he made with me.

I returned from Saudi Arabia to my home country, India and then moved to London. The job and people in the United Kingdom, or Britain, were so good that they helped and guided me a lot in finding the places where I had to give interviews. One older lady even walked side by side with me and showed me the place, directly and on that actual spot, I was so thankful to her too. These are the good deeds you need to do and avoid troubling others. If you can’t help, do not interfere in others’ affairs.

Think for a While

Think before you do a deed, whether it is good or bad. Helping others for their lawful benefit is indeed a good deed. Do everything to understand whether the deeds are good or bad. So analyse and examine whether such a deed is good or bad, without associating partners with the Lord of the worlds and that everything belongs to Him. To Him you shall return to. Fear the Almighty, the most Merciful and all Knowing and fear the punishment of hell by Him. Finally, keep doing good deeds, and you’ll realise that your life will be filled with peace too.
