Hyderabad, June 6, 2026: A high-level review meeting on minority welfare schemes was held at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat on Saturday. This meeting was chaired by Minister Shri Mohammed Azharuddin.
Advisor to the Telangana Government Shri Mohammed Ali Shabbir participated in the meeting, along with senior officials and heads of various minority institutions. The meeting reviewed the implementation and progress of welfare schemes aimed at minority communities across the state.

- Urdu Academy Chairman Taher Bin Hamdan.
- Haj Committee Chairman Afzal Biyabani Kusroo Pasha.
- Minority Finance Corporation Chairman Obedulla Kotwal.

All the mentioned were present during the meeting chaired by Mohammed Azharuddin.

There were some good discussions over the welfare of the communities belonging to Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and Dalits. Sikhs prefer them as not belonging to the minority, while they benefit India a lot through their farming.
