There were also serious traffic jams reported in many parts of the new city. Heavy rainfall during the first monsoon spell on Tuesday evening was reportedly too much to begin with. The heavy rainfall led to waterlogging and severe traffic congestion on key stretches between Osman Jung Road and Mozamjahi Market in Hyderabad. There have been no power cuts in Hyderabad, kudos to the electricity department and the government of Telangana. Special thanks to the Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy.
