Employers have their senior management to help their organization grow and so one or two of them would be assigned the role to take interviews. They take interviews as first come first served. This is not bad as the one who comes first or first in the queue, would be told to sit first at the hot seat. The first comers surely would be the talented individuals, just keep this in mind as we go through this hot topic for an interesting ride. However, the management of the organization take interviews, but for once or at least they should know, note-down or realize that so and so or such and such candidate’s profile carries some weight.

The weight I’m talking about is talent. Creativity or some expertize as a writer, poet or book author shouldn’t be ignored even if the job description doesn’t require that. All resumes almost put for taking interviews are connected to job description and are made ready for interviews by the ‘automated-software selection’. So, no worry in any case.

The hiring process often ignores the extra talent. It is not the interviewer’s job to look whether the candidates would do the job and would also be trained and so on. As it is computed that the resume is ready for an interview call, the interviewers should also take note of the creativity factor in the resume. The creativity factor is an extra subject that the candidates know all about.

Body Language & Losers Are The Organizations

Here we go. Let’s assume that the candidates has some extra skills or talent like creativity which they have added in their resume because of some X-factor or whatever. But the fact is that the cadidates are also creative even if the job requirement do not demand for. For example, the job opening in the organization is for training ‘how to use Ai tools’. At the same time, the candidates possess good communication skills and also good enough to fit in the role as trainer for using Ai tools. But due to or because of their extra knowledge or one could say, expertize in creativity, they could make few mistakes.

As mentioned above, what mistakes? You would ask surely. In that one hour interview, they would speak a lot and take more than 10 to 20 mins to reply, the simple query. The query is very commonly asked everywhere, and also in every previous interview, the creative candidates answered or replied that query every-time differently.

What is that simple query? The query is indeed about: ‘Tell me something about yourself'”, very commonly asked and in almost every interview. The interviewers should understand that creativity makes people excited and that is surely too good for the organization. Excitement and hard-work in the required subject for the job, added by creativity creates some awkward mistakes by these talented individuals. That doesn’t mean these talented individuals are not fit for the role.

Ignore Mistakes

These talented and creative individuals often make minor mistakes, from spilling the glass of water to not find the exit while they’ll be guided to enter so and so room. But they forget from where to return to go out or exit. The interviewers get confused and reject their applications as above mentioned mistakes by the talented individuals, won’t be ignored. They mean that by thinking that the mistakes are serious. So, they lose highly qualified candidates this way.

What Talented Individuals Do?

What actually, these talented individuals do? They work very hard and they are so punctual and consistent. Even in many cases, they visit the organization by using Google map location guide a day before to see from a bit far and return home just to remember the way to go the next day. The organizations lose such highly talented individuals by noticing their body language, which would look to the interviewers very odd and while they take interviews they get disturbed by such behaviours.

Also, even when a call for interview comes their way, the talented individuals become so much excited and give their everything to get the job. They think they’re good and would pass the interview this time but their confidence and abilities go in vain.

Take interviews by keeping patience and by knowing the individuals. Don’t worry about their body language, be focused on what would their creativity would help the organization. Their quite and good-manners, and also their excitement shouldn’t be taken as their weakness. They’re the superb people, they’re the most talented individuals, yet they fail interviews after interviews. Why not take their interviews in friendly manner and if they’re selected by this way, the organization can benefit by making them do multi-tasking and so on. Don’t be the losers. Pick talented individuals the way you should organize to make them happy and successful. Remember their success is the huge success of the organization.
